go glamping
If you are like me then you are loving the new Country Road colour palette. Who would have ever thought that neon would be cool again - but I suppose it has a lot to do with the fact that it is just a splash of the bright colours alongside broad strokes of neutral taupes and greys. And with Spring just around the corner, it goes without saying it is time to start planning a party or two inspired by this colourway!
One of our new partyware ranges dubbed GLAMPING does just that. So whether you are 16 and 60, why not invite all the girls over for a "sleepover" and pitch a tent in your garden and get your groove on (or should we say back?).
GOOD IDEAS:
- String up the Glamping Bunting in and around the tent and add the clothespegs' line - ask your guests to bring one of their photos from their "teenage years" and let everyone guess who is who.
- Host the party outdoors and with only the luminary bags for light - that way you can share stories and secrets just like you did as kids.
- Spike the punch!
- Instead of having a real sleepover (no one likes to sleep on the hard ground) send everyone home just after midnight snacks. Serve pizza, popcorn, milkshakes, chocolates and if you like pancakes with all the toppings!
- Ask your guests to dress like they did back in the day: think "funky wear and crazy hair". Neon nylon socks most welcome. How about throwing in some karaoke and the glamping trivia and playing card games for entertainment. make sure cameras are at the ready!
