BUILD THEIR EXCITEMENT

A good place to start when planning a "themed" wedding (in this case Art Deco) is to have custom stationery made that can just by looking at it transport your guests to the imaginary world or time that you have envisioned.

Amanda from Silvergate Design Studio created a stunning all encompassing wedding stationery collection from the Save The Date all the way to the Favour Tags for our magazine feature. As we share these elements and the idea behind each one, you will also be able to download these items for free. So whilst you may not be having an art deco wedding, many of the items are ideal for an engagement party/rehearsal dinner/milestone birthday or a dinner party.

The design was inspired by the times of Art Deco: the Roaring 20's with key elements being: prosperous and decadent parties, bold architectural graphics, flappers, feathers and The Great Gatsby...

GOOD IDEA: HIT TUNES TEASER
A few weeks before the wedding, send each of your guests a teaser via snail mail to get them excited for the upcoming event like this old fashioned postcard styled like a dance card. Number from 1 to 5 and leave space for the guests’ to jot in their song wish list.

Download the art deco postcard here.
