wave and cheer
Forgo confetti, and have your guests wave ribbon wands after the ceremony. Tie ribbon strands to thin dowel sticks available at most hardware stores and add a little tag with the instructions: WHEN THE NEWLYWEDS WALK YOUR WAY, WAVE YOUR WAND AND SHOUT HURRAY!
