It's the last day of Fasnacht (or you may know it as Carnival or Mardi Gras) here in Switzerland and it just as big as in South America, albeit in a much cooler climate! Everyday for about the last two weeks every town puts on a parade and on Sunday Rotkreuz (where we live) had theirs. There are impressive floats, really, really good bands and seriously over-the-top outfits in the parade and on the sidelines.
I think he best part for Zara was she was allowed to throw confetti all over the place - in fact it was encouraged as too was accepting sweets from strangers!
