There is NO waiting with this quick recipe, simply bake and enjoy on a chilly winter afternoon.
8 butter croissants
1 cup raisins (optional)
1 litre custard
1. Preheat oven to 180oC, grease an oven proof dish or individual dishes such as ramekins
2. Cut the croissants in half and arrange in the dishes, scatter with raisins, pour over the custard.
3. Bake for 30 minutes until golden and hot
4. Serve warm dusted with icing sugar.
