tussie mussie

Have you heard of this phrase before? A “Tussie-mussie” is a quaint, endearing term from the early 1400s for small, round bouquets of herbs and flowers with symbolic meanings. And so to celebrate the month of May and Mother's Day, I made some little tussie mussies for the back of the chairs at our Mothers Day table. These were easy to create as I used these confetti cones and tied then with twine to the back of the chairs. And if your chairs dont have a opening a good idea is to use a pin or washi tape to hold them to the back of the chairs. Something so simple and yet so special that each guest can take home and tie to a door handle.
