When it comes to party décor the best advice I can give is: location, location, location. If you pick the right venue and one that ties in as far as possible to your theme, you have already "decorated" your space 80%. Therefore, for our pony party it only made sense to have the party at a Pony Farm and I was lucky that one was just 15 minutes away from our house. Not only was the party area right alongside the stables, but the farm supplied an undercover area with wooden tables and benches - and yes! they even had a tee pee!
To add a little bit of festive décor and a personal touch I added some of these cute things:
- Personalised bunting - Amanda designed letter bunting to match the invitation.
- Colourful Bunting - I actually customised this pink and blue set by adding some red paper and ribbons so it matched my party colours.
- Balloons: Some big horse balloons and a giant metallic silver 6.
- Welcome Sign: I made a green wreath with pink roses (like the ones horses win at competitions) to greet guests.
