Happy, happy New Year!
THE INSPIRATION
Today, we are sharing ideas from my New Years Day brunch featuring classic symbols used in celebrating the New Year in Germany. Earlier this week we focused on chimney sweeps, lucky pennies and horseshoes for our New Years Eve celebration; today we have created a party featuring the other popular symbols: pigs, clovers and ladybirds.
THE INVITATION
Sending cards for Christmas is still very popular, but possibly New Years cards are not so readily available. However, this can easily be overcome by purchasing cards with inspirational messages and then including your party details inside.
THE DECORATIONS
One can also find vintage New Years Eve cards online and then like we did: print these and tape to string to create a garland.
