I really love the trend at the moment in Weddings where non-traditional elements are being used for centrepieces. Goodbye large over-the-top floral centrepieces and hello! quirky deconstructed flowers, ceramics, feathers and "ornaments".
The latter I think is such a fun element to your wedding table . You and your bubby-to-be collect theme appropriate ornaments or ceramics (think owls, birds, rabbits, buck, dogs - anything that has a personal affiliation with you) from shops, flea markets, your parents garage?
Then paint/spraypaint them all in one neutral colour and incorporate these into your centrepieces. Easy, inexpensive and don't be surprised if your guests make dibs on them!
