For our Marigold and Pewter Easter Party, we created a real quick centrepiece. All you do is place a wreath of flowers (real or fake) and in the middle and set inside a giant egg. In this case, I found an oversized ceramic one at a shop here in Switzerland after much hunting - but in SA you would easily be able to find an Ostrich Egg. The egg has the advantage of being used for baby showers too! (Also, I once went to a Business Power Breakfast and the table centrepiece was giant Ostrich eggs on little standard sized egg cups - very clever!).

TOP TIP: If you are buying a fake wreath, buy one in neutral rustic colours, as this can then be used for many an ocassion - even Christmas.
