Today we celebrated Three Kings Day or officially called Epiphany.
Epiphany (Greek for "to manifest" or "to show"), is a Christian feast day which celebrates the "shining forth" or revelation of God in human form in the person of Jesus Christ. The Feast of the Epiphany falls on January 6. Western Christians commemorate the visitation of the Magi to the child Jesus on this day, i.e., his manifestation to the Gentiles. Epiphany falls on the last day of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
In Switzerland it is a traditional holiday in that every year all the bakeries make Three Kings Cake – a mildly sweet bread loaf. Hidden inside a little plastic king, so whoever happens to bite into his Highness, gets to wear the golden crown on their head and is literally "King for a Day" and gets to boss everyone around! But just for the day! And as luck would have it Zara bit into it – seems she has a lucky streak – this is the 3rd year running!
