The best favours are those that I think guests can really enjoy, and that is surely guaranteed with something edible. I particularly like these two offerings at a recent real wedding featured in MS Weddings:
Fruit cups with the addition of a custom flag and Jam jars with ribbon bands and custom labels. Best of all these are relatively reasonable to buy and DIY.

Martha Stewart Weddings Summer 2010 is out now, and is full of lovely ideas for a wedding, my favourite being their whole DIY article mainly because of all the stunning free clip art they have on offer. Whilst this may not be your wedding colour scheme pass on the info to your bridesmaids, as wouldn't this just be so pretty for a bridal shower? Or how about your rehearsal dinner.

It is no secret that my hero is Martha Stewart. However, I have been a little disappointed (shhh!) with my Martha Stewart Living subscription, I even for a moment (a very short one I assure you) considered not renewing it. But, I am completely besotted again, the June Issue is brilliant - it has so many great ideas for Outdoor Entertaining and I am sure we will be inspired for years to come from these current pages.
