When deciding on a birthday party theme especially for little ones, there is no need to agonise over what to go with? Simply ask yourself what is their favourite toy or activity or book. Then all you need to do is focus on the appropriate colours and incorporate this into the invitations, decorations like balloons and garlands and tableware. Then "invite" the toys to be the centrepieces, the activity to be part of the fun and games and the book to be the party favour.
This party styled by Susanna Vento demonstrates this beautifully especially with these little Rice fabric horses who seem to steal the show at every opportunity. So thrilled that we have these in store!
THINGS WE LOVE:
The balloon topiary trees - here is a tutorial on Martha Stewart to do this.
The bright paper garlands and the pinata. Check out our shop for our wide range of paper garlands.
I love this idea of layering paper plates, makes for such a pretty and unconventional table setting - even for grown ups.
The cookie cutter shaped sandwiches and the sweet berries dropped into the little glass bottles with straws.
The party favours - recycled purity jars with toy animal glued on top and then coated in spray paint.
What is your favourite part?
