So as you know In Good Company is the Big 1! And so too is our blog. We have been doing quite a bit of work in the background and have lots more to do till the end of the year, but we decided to kick off the "new year" with a new blog series!
The idea behind this series is not brand spanking new as it is very similar to our online magazine the Good Newsletter, but now we will be featuring a new party every week - exclusive to the blog. Each day of the week we will break down the Party of the Week into the following categories from GOOD LOOK to GOOD LIFE.
Sunday - GOOD LOOK
This is where we will introduce the party theme for the week, include our inspiration board and our colour palette. Plus, we may sneak in some behind the scenes details under UP TO GOOD that inspired us along the way.
Monday - GOOD EXAMPLE
This is the full party "article". Featuring photos of our party, detailing the stationery, decorations, linen, tableware, fun, favours and so much more...
Tuesday - GET THE GOODIES
This is where we share with you how you too can get the look. Here we will showcase some of the goodies that are available in our online shop, as well as point you in the direction of other shops and vendors that can also assist and you can meet some GOOD PEOPLE along the way.
Wednesday - GOOD ADVICE
Here is our little Did you Know column and some sage party advice - applicable to the type of party that week. Some stuff you may already know, some not so much. And we would love to answer your GOOD QUESTIONS too.
Thursday - IN GOOD HANDS
I love this part! Here we get practical and share some step by step instructions on how to do a craft project or two for the party. And, you know how much we love printables, so there will surely be some GOOD ON PAPER goodies, and even some freebies! Plus, don't be surprised if we throw in a GOOD RIDDANCE segment where we turn something old into something new.
Friday - GOOD LIFE
Of course! We would definitely not leave out a real life party around similar theme lines. Proving that it is actually possible to throw such a party!
Saturday - GOOD AS GOLD
Last but not least, we are keeping it light on Saturdays, but most likely crucial to your party planning: we are going to do a budget breakdown of the party of the week. And share some money saving tips applicable to the party and parties in general (call it the accountant in me!).
And no worries, we will be sure to post lots of other goodies, including your favourite SOMETHING GOOD!
