Yesterday was quite the day - what with us turning one and all! And not only did we have a bit of a virtual party, but when I saw this wedding over at Martha Stewart with Max Wagner as the photographer, it was like they were throwing our dream party! Don't be surprised if in the future we steal everyone of these ideas and have this party with our name on it!
THINGS WE LOVE:
- The Pagoda parasols! Are they just not to die for! Kind of reminds me of one of our illustrations done by Keiko Morimoto. Plus, I may just know how to get my hands on some of these brollies!
- The black and white stripe tablecloth is just to die for! You know how much we love stripes, we use them everywhere (in fact I am actually wearing some now - no lies!). So to have them big and bold on the full length of the table is just incredible. We have this as curtains in our showroom, so I think I need to get some tablecloths whipped up like yesterday!
- I never thought I was a pink person, and when it came to flowers resisted jumping on the "peonies are my favourite flower" band wagon. But I feel obliged now to confess I love pink - all shades of it and yes! peonies are to die for!
- The bridesmaids outfits are just fabulous and if we did fashion it would so look like this: bright, bold and a little bit quirky! Everything about this reminds me of two of our favourite suppliers Bombay Duck and Rice Denmark. And as you know I am a sucker for red shoes...
- Other things that have my me so wishing I could have this party in real life must be the signature drinks with maraschino cherries and the idea of burlap custom printed favour bags. I most likely wouldn't give fruit but I am thinking lollipops would be lovely!
- Finally, my favourite thing about this party is the guestbook! Why? Well, the couple used a vintage atlas as their guestbook for guests to write their well wishes in, and I LOVE IT! because this is a major hint at what In Good Company is going to be doing for 2011 campaign - so you heard it first here: In Good Company is going "Around the World" and we hope you will join us on this Good Trip!
