ladybird doll
Remember early this week we had a little sneak peak of the little wooden cake topper doll paint your own kits from Goose Grease. Well, they will only arrive in store in a week or so, but last night I thought I just had to try out a sample one for the fun of it - and it really was so much fun!
The last time I painted was when I did art in Std 7, but I am pretty impressed at how cute the little cake topper came out - and yes! Celeste (who I know reads my blog) this little girl is Eliza and is in the mail as we speak just in time to arrive for Eliza's First Birthday cake - which is naturally all ladybird themed.
The thing I love about the cake toppers is that you can paint just about anything - check out Goose Grease for ideas, and how they make darling wedding cake toppers! All a nice craft activity to keep kids busy in the holidays.
