Like Justin & Mary I also loved this idea of paper flags for guests to fly, over at Martha Stewart. See the DIY tutorial here. These can be used instead of confetti, to make announcements like MS Weddings suggest "Cake Cutting", "First Dance" etc.) or have them being waved at the send off.
