the big apple

For Gail's 50th birthday, the idea had always been to go to New York, but when it looked like this was not going to happen Wendy & Natalie did what any party gurus would do - bring New York to Gail. Here are some snapshots of the-city-that-never-sleeps party, full of great DIY ideas - wouldn't this make for a great New Years Eve party? Well done ladies - sure looks like it was a blast!

THINGS WE LOVE:
- The I heart NY posters that were made full of typical New York sights and sounds, that were dotted around the party area.
- The glittered silhouette of the Statue of Liberty. (You can take any polystyrene cut out and make it into something incredible with glitter!)
- The New York skyline painted by Wendy made for a fab. backdrop for a photo booth.
- The typical all-American food: bagels, pastrami on rye, cheeseburgers and how cute are the biscuits from Tiny Bite? And did you see the personalised coffee cup wraps? Plus, the little USA flags were from this Parties By Hardie Printable Party.
