Spotted this lovely party over at Alannah Rose, such a bright two tone colour scheme looks amazing and makes selecting your party suppliers really easy. The Alannah Rose invitations and tags really make the party into something special, and as for that cake I am speechless - could anything be cuter!
THINGS WE LOVE:
Invitations and envelopes from Alannah Rose available in our store: Invitations R150 for 12.
Chinese paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling with bright ribbons - available in three different sizes - new better prices, so contactus@ingoodcompany.coza. 30cm R25 each, 40cm R35 each. Our giant helium balloons or paper daisies could also work just as well. All sorts of colours available R35 each ad R20 each respectively.
Suzi is the graphic designer of Alannah Rose behind this party so you can see this in her artistic flair and in all the details. The little cupcake picks she sourced from Details Details. The duck wrappers she was able to source from Pink Frosting in Australia and the bunting from Paperklip. She wrapped polka dot fabric around juice bottles but you could just as easily use patterned polka dot paper. Customised cupcake picks, wrappers and bunting can be designed by our graphic designer to showcase a little duck and have bright polka dots. We could even whip up a duck iron on transfer for the birthday girl/boy's t shirt/babygro or bib. Design and concept R200, each item R100.
How incredible is that tulle skirt - make your own.
The duck cake, cupcakes and biscuits are amazing and I am convinced Allison from www.tinybite.co.za could replicate this one. And similar glass jars and white cake stands and compotes available for purchase or hire in our store.
In addition we also have pretty polka dot linen table runners for hire (available in all sorts of colours R15 each), and red with white polka dot paper cups (R5 each), plates (R6 each) and napkins (R40 for a pack). And little white and red pail buckets (R5 each for hire) to fill with bright red and yellow flowers and decorate with ribbon for table centrepieces.
For fun and games you could look to get a pinata, or we could make up a printable game like Pin the Beak on the Duck, Charades or Bingo. Maybe you have a good idea?
Another fun traditional game would be to fill a giant plastic clam with a little bit of water, add some plastic ducks and have little ones try to catch the ducks, underneath you could have different coloured stickers that result in a different range of small prizes.
For prizes of favours you could give guests goodies like iced biscuits, mini badges, confetti eggs, crowns, goodie boxes or some joke cards. For favour bags fill our retro spot paper bags, and finish off with ribbon and an Alannah Rose Little Duck tag.
