For a recent client's 40th birthday, themed along the lines of Queen & Country (as she is born British and on St. George's Day) we had designed a newspaper (The Telegraph naturally) showcasing her birth announcement as well as prevalent historic events in the 1970's. And then this was printed and used to wrap and serve fish and chips!

This idea need only be reserved for parties, but is a fun way to serve cocktail food at a wedding reception or engagement party; and a good talking point. Similarly, the newspaper could have photos of the couple, their engagement announcement, and maybe an article or two about them...

You could also forgo the food, and use the cones to fill with petals or sweets from a Dessert Buffet.
