Here is a fabulous idea for a DIY escort card display. Simply pop over to the Martha Stewart Crafts Blog to see exactly how it is done, but basically it is bottle tops glued on to drawing pins, and then inside the underside of each bottle top is a cut of photo circle of the person.
So in the case of a wedding/party you can include the guest's photo and have a little strip of paper that then indicates their table number pushed into pinboards. Or better yet, use one kind of bottle top for each table, and the guests then have to find the Heineken or Coca Cola table. You could even then have that corresponding bottle with the table number on it at the table, or that drink at each place setting. A fab. idea especially if it is for an "all boys" function using fancy imported beers.
