So I figured I must share a few with you every now and again, and seeing that everyone including myself is smitten with pinwheels – here you can create the look in a few easy steps with either linen or paper napkins! LOVE IT!

PIN WHEEL

This lovely design looks great on a party table, creating a real sense of movement, and will especially appeal to children as it really does look as i fit could turn in the breeze.

STEP 1 – Open the napkin flat wit right side down, and fold the four corners into the centre to form a diamond.

STEP 2 – Fold two opposite edges inward to meet in the centre, creating a rectangle.

STEP 3 – Fold the two short edges of the rectangle to meet in the centre, creating a small square.

STEP 4 – Carefully tease out the loose corners under the flap nearest you, holding the napkin formly with the other hand.

STEP 5 – Flatten the flap to make a point at each end, then swing the right hand point towards you; this forms two blades.

STEP 6 – Turn the napkin around and repeat steps 4 and 5 to form the remianing two blades of the pinwheel.
