Alternate centrepieces for weddings and other ocassions are definitely the trend. I especially love the simplicity of a singular open flower bud or little feathered bird surrounded by glass. Especially beautiful when various vessels are used in conjunction like bell jars, wooden stands, glass bottles, tarnished trophies etc.
