We are wrapping up the Weddings Issue for Thursday and it is definitely by far the biggest and best issue we have done to date. Eventually I had to call it quits and hand it over to our fantastic graphic designing duo to work their magic. I was very reluctant as I had so many other ideas to share, but then I realised I could post them all here to my heart's content! So get ready for an influx of my favourite wedding ideas in the next couple of weeks...
Starting with some of the things that I have seen real people actually do!
Paint Your Own Pottery
For a fun afternoon, have the guests learn a new skill, and leave with a project. Look to local stores for group one-day classes that can be booked for the day. Or instead of bringing a gift, each guest can paint a piece for the bride’s new collection - my sister recently attended a bridal shower at THE SEED POD STUDIO in Broadacres and they did exactly this. What a wonderful keepsake for the bride.
