child's play

Nowadays there is a real focus on family at weddings, and the "regrets, no children" has fallen to the wayside with the adage of "the more the merrier". And with it comes a whole host of special touches that brides are adding just for the kids.

We love these ideas:
Multiple flower girls or ring bearers. For older ones, make them "IN CHARGE OF PETALS" and play the role of confetti kids. And don't stress about costly outfits: for the girls buy white dresses off the rack with a matching sash made out of wide satin ribbon and for the boys black school trousers, a white shirt and a satin ribbon bow tie and cummerband are just as fancy.Or opt for something more casual like pretty summer dresses and boys with sleeveless pullover jerseys for a laid back or beachside wedding.

Have a kiddies table: low tables and chairs, fun edible centrepieces and playful masks (see our DAFT DISGUISES)

Best of all give a favour that entertains them at the wedding like our Goodie Boxes.
And do the parents a favour and hire a babysitter!
