clever cards
In this week’s issue of GOOD NEWSLETTER GOOD RIDDANCE article we suggested various clever uses for old Christmas Cards. And I was surfing the REAL SIMPLE website and found two great new ideas.
If you like taking holiday photo cards and sending them out to all your family and friends, keep one each year as a keepsake. Then every Christmas string these up over a mantelpiece or along a makeshift clothesline. It makes a lovely nostalgic display.
Using a star punch or a simple template cut out Christmas tags. Similarly cut out the same shape from white vellum paper, On the vellum paper write each guest’s name, place on top the Christmas card shape, punch through a small hole and string to napkins for a quick and quaint tablescape.
