Look around you

I’m in gorgeous Cape Town this week and am staying in Stellenbosch for two nights. This beautiful little town has such a special place in my heart as I spent four very happy years here as a student at the University of Stellenbosch. So I always love coming back and the natural beauty never fails to take my breath away. Driving along today with a smile on my face I was once again amazed by the stunning yet sturdy arum lilies that grow wild along the roads here – how is that possible?! Nature’s gifts to us are all around and provide wonderful inspiration for events big and small – think along the lines of an arrangement of apples at a casual lunch for friends or an inspired motif for a wedding. Nature’s possibilities are endless!
