For your Dinner in White, guests will arrive at the secret location together and are
accompanied by a table leader who will assign their precise seating
arrangements. Seats are
allotted on-site symmetrically with men seated on one side and women on the
other.
Without wasting any time, guests are to set up their table and chairs. Guests
wait for their entire row to have set up before they take their seats. Once all
guests are settled in, they spontaneously lift their white cloth napkins to
indicate the beginning of the dinner. Traditionally this is a sign of having
successfully occupied the public space.
