If you have young kids, it is still fun to have a Halloween Party, and instead of it being scary you can make it cute! 

THE INSPIRATION
Move over guts and gore and keep the focus on the treats and not the tricks.

THE IDEAS

PARTY DECOR String up some pumpkin paper garlands, and hunt down as many pumpkins as you can - bonus! use these later for an impromptu game of pumpkin bowling.

PARTY FOOD Instead of setting up a candy dessert buffet on one table, have a few jars of sweets behind a few doors and hand out some pumpkin shaped treat favour bags. That way the little kids still get to knock on the door and yell "trick or treat" - without having to run all over the neighbourhood.

PARTY GAMES Here the focus is on fun, so encourage little guests to dress up in whatever they like! Have a dress up competition where prizes are handed out for The Best Dressed, Hardest to Guess, Most Original, Best Pair, The Cutest, The Scariest etc. Have a few fun masks on hands for those who may have forgotten...
