Yesterday, I finally decided on what we are giving our Mom for Mother's Day this year. With the present all done, it is time to start brainstorming ideas for the actual day itself. The first idea actually leads off some of previous gift ideas as it is about having a late morning or afternoon Bake Off.
All your guests get to wear pretty aprons and make a favourite recipe in the kitchen. You can all do one recipe (written on the lovely little recipe cards) or have people work in teams. Alternatively, one person could bake the cupcakes beforehand and then the competition could all be about the decorations! Afterwards you get admire everyone's handiwork, award a prize for the best and enjoy the spoils!
