here ye here ye!

Last week, I shared a quick and budget friendly Paris party idea, today here is a little Princess Party in a box. A collection of seven essential items for your pretty as a princess party décor - plus in have included some "secrets" on how to make the goodies stretch even further...

SHOPPING LIST
Complete Collection R390
Party for Eight
Price per person R48.75
Princess Bunting R80
This bunting is 3m long, so you can either stretch it across the room, or to get "more" out of it, cut it up into sections: use some to decorate the door of your entrance (0.8m), string some up  across the front of the buffet table (1.8m) and tie to the back of the birthday girl's chair ("throne") (0.4m).

Princess Tablecloth R60
The tablecloth is 1.2 x 1.8m in size, so you can cover your table completely, or if you have a nice finish, rather cut up the tablecloth into three 1.2m x 0.5m table runners, then use the difference to cut some pennant swallowtail flags and stick to skewers and push into  the flower centrepieces.

Princess Cupcake Kit R80
This kit has 4o pink polka dot cupcake cases and 20 princess and cat toppers.
Make up 8 cupcakes and use 8 of the toppers at the party. Then repackage 4 of the liners and toppers into the treat bags for the girls to take home and make their own cupcakes.

Princess Paper Cups R40 and Princess Plates R40 for 8
Set a place setting for each guest (always a good idea to "fill up the table").

Princess Napkins R40
The napkins come in a set of 20, so use eight, one at each place setting. With the other napkins get creative and create:
A napkin wreath - see details here
Make flowers - see details here
Fill each one with sweets in the middle and bring the corners all together and tie with pretty ribbon, place at each place setting for a little present and place card in one.
Make thank you cards - see details here
Do a craft activity like decoupage a candle or a small trinket box - see details here

Princess Treat Bags R35
Fill the eight treat bags with the above mentioned liners and toppers as well any leftover sweets and a lice of cake.
