A big summer trend overseas fashion wise at the moment is "colour blocking" - basically it is where you wear blocks of bright colours - so no patterns/other detail. I think this also makes for a great party look - especially for small kids or if you are not so keen on a specific theme or cartoon characters. And like this party pic proves a lot of colour goes a long away to looking fab!
