So we continue with our Confetti wedding table centrepieces with a Christmas twist.
table 1: topiary treat
Place a terracotta pot in the centre, painted in your chosen colour scheme, place inside either a real topiary style tree (think a moss/rose ball on a dowel stick) or how about doing a few miniature ones, fill pots/metal tins with green raffia grass and insert red and white lollipops.
table 2: festive fruit and flowers
Whilst the above colours are quite tropical, imagine a christmas table done up in red and/or green apples, pomegranates and star fruit. Apples can also be be cut at the top just enough to function as a tealight holder. Even better - I have always loved the ideas of cherries & berries for Christmas, so display everything from blueberries, raspberries, cherries and strawberries in all varied shapes and sizes of glassware, and then serve with ice cream and whipped cream for dessert. And for a good tip from the Cook Studio chef Debbie - add lots of edible glitter!
table 3: shades of a colour
The success of this table is the use of one colour, but the flowers are displayed in varying vessels but only one type of bloom per vase. For this kind of arrangement even the likes of white carnations, white baby's breath, with white roses, white lilies etc. will look good. Just don't mix in one vase!
table four: candy cane confectionery
Yesterday, we suggested baked goods as centrepieces, well why not bring the typical sweet buffet to the table centre. Fill glass jars, compotes and cake stands with an all red and white sweet sensation: think peppermint bark, candy canes, lollipops, peppermints, marshmallows etc. A great idea also just for the kiddies table.
Could there be possible more? Yes, till tomorrow then!
