It used to be that the groom’s friends and family would sit on one side and the bride’s guests would be on the other. These days, planners encourage mingling, therefore reserve the first few rows for family members and let everyone else sit wherever they want, prompted by a custom painted chalkboard sign with vinyl sticker.
