cookie exchange

Are you hosting a cooking exchange party this year? Well, head over to the Pretty Blog for some gorgeous FREE printables. And Bianca was so clever to also give all the details on a little envelope book that can hold all the recipe cards in.

Allison of Tiny Bite (who as you know makes the most amazing iced biscuits) was kind to share her favourite cookie recipe - do you remember these?

„Below is a fantastically easy biscuit recipe which my mom used to make my siblings and I when we were small – and sometimes we would get to make them ourselves.“

MELTING MOMENTS
180g margarine/butter
60g icing sugar
180g cake flour
60g custard powder
Pinch of salt

1. Cream together the margarine/butter and the icing sugar.
2. Mix in the flour, custard powder and salt.
3. Knead into a ball.
4. Roll into small balls and place on a greased baking tray/sheet.
5. Press down with a fork and bake in a pre heated oven at 180’C for around 10 minutes.
6. Allow to cool.
7. Biscuits can be left plain or topped with a dribble of glace icing and 100s and 1000s.
