The next idea from Vanessa's party is a goodie. Especially as this can be used for any occasion. Buy yourself one large or two small pin boards (even better if they have a frame to match your party colours). Vanessa found these ones at Mr. Price Home.
Then decorate the board with photos of the guest of honour; and in the case of kids you may wish to showcase some of their recent art work. This is a fun way to show all your friends and family the past year of the birthday boy or girl.
