pretty pea lights
Yesterday, we shared our invitation idea for a Princess and the Pea Party; and today I have a great décor idea that is not only brilliant for the party, but for your little princess' bedroom as well.
I first saw the La Case De Cousin Paul fairy lights on Jordan's blog Oh Happy Day, and was pleasantly surprised to see them in Manor, one of our department stores the other day - and they had the exact colours I was after, all pinks and greens prettily packaged in a box plus a string of 20 fairy lights too!
It took me under 10 minutes to put the little kit together (you have to pierce the hole of each ball and push through the light). The bonus being that you can decide on the order you want the balls to go. Then I just plugged them in, turned off the lights, and ta-da we have "pea" shaped night lights for our sleepover party table (I placed our white bench at the end of the girl's play table to mimic a bed headboard and the "tablecloth" is a duvet, so you have the look of a bed for a table).
p.s. Look how cool they look in our playroom afterwards!
La Case De Cousin Paul ship to SA too - hurray!
